Black Isle Brewery & Farm Update February 11th 22

Organic Farm

The weather might be a bit dreich but our growing season is already well underway thanks to our wonderful Keder Greenhouse.

Here are our equally wonderful volunteers, Nick and Steff, adding fresh compost (made from the brewery's spent grain) to the beds where we're growing delicious kale and salad to serve at our bars.

Brewery Shop

We've got a lot of great dogs on the farm, and they have a pretty great life with plenty of space to run around all day.

However, sometimes they just want to relax by the brewery shop fireplace.

Here's Pollen doing just that.

Inverness Bar

We're serving fresh Cape Wrath oysters every Friday-Sunday at our Inverness Bar.

The Cape Wrath oyster farm is located in the Kyle of Durness. Established in 2014, by Lucy and Patrick Blow, and trust us... their oysters are delicious!

We recommend pairing them with a glass of "Anyone Seen My Buffalo?" - a rich and heady Baltic Porter, aged in Buffalo Trace Bourbon Barrels.
