Based in the centre of Inverness, our hostel is conveniently located only minutes from both the train and bus stations. Bringing brewery life to the city, it’s a bright and unique base for exploring the streets and trails of the Highlands. Only a short walk around the corner, you’ll find our Black Isle Bar - perfect for a beer and homemade, wood-fired pizza.
From town, it’s easy to access other areas of the Highlands by road or public transport. The Great Glen Way is walking distance from the hostel and is a lovely route to walk, run or ride.
We’re open all year round, except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
We have 10 mixed dormitory rooms, which cater for 4 or 6 guests, and two private dorms for up to 2 guests. At each bed you’ll find a reading light, as well as USB and power sockets too – no issues trying to claim the only plug in the room!
There are two communal bathrooms available. If you need a towel you can hire one for £2 at reception.
Check-in for our shared dorm rooms is from 2:30pm in reception.
Dogs are always welcome at our bar and private rooms. They are permitted in hostel dorm rooms if the room is fully booked by the same party. The cost for your dog to stay is £10.
Our prices start from £26.
Relax In Our Lounge
Our lounge and dining area are great for relaxing, socialising and planning your adventures in the Highlands. We often have a range of maps, books and games to inspire your travel and keep you entertained!
Cook In Our Kitchen
There’s a small kitchen with two induction hobs, a microwave and a toaster for you to use if you fancy a night in. Our lounge has wooden benches and tables, which are perfect for a social meal together.
Store Luggage & Bikes
For guests with lots of luggage, we have a store room, as well as a secure bike storage for those travelling on two wheels. We know wet and wild weather in Scotland, so we’ve also added a dedicated drying room with underfloor heating – perfect after a day in the hills.
