We often find kindred spirits in brewers who are buried in hills, and it was no different with BFM, an exceptional brewery high up in the Jura mountains. They are world renowned for their barrel-aged saisons, so we thought we’d try a straight saison, another finished in red wine casks, and then a mixed fermentation using their √ 225 Saison yeast in Port barrels.
The result: three equations. Drink separately or blend together.
