Championing the Wilder Side of Life with MTBeer!

MTBeer was born out of a passion for bikes and beer.

With the opportunity to once again head to Scotland’s biggest mountain bike event at Fort William, we wanted to create a session beer that celebrates our love of the untamed outdoors and time on two wheels. As Scotland’s only organic brewery, it’s in our blood to brew using only the very best ingredients – all of which are grown without the use of nasty chemicals, just as nature intended.

The answer was a lower ABV pale ale, deliciously brewed using a healthy dose of hops – as well as using fresh, Highland water from our very own spring. Can’t get better than that!

The project has connected us not only with nature, but local businesses and the bike industry too. With support from H+I Adventures, our Highlands neighbours up here near Inverness – and Erik Porter of Union Creative, there’s a lot of love for the can design! Featuring Scottish mountain bike athlete Scotty Laughland  – it’s been nothing but a fun, creative passion project that we can’t wait to share with the world stage this weekend.

Where can you get hold of MTBeer?

Well demand has been high since posting our latest release – and if you’re heading to Fort William this weekend to cheer on the best of mountain bike talent – then you can grab a can or two, or get it tap at the various bars at Nevis Range.  If you’re not, no worries – as we’ll be sending some more their way – with Nevis Range bars stocking this sweet little can for the foreseeable.

As soon as the next batch rolls off the canning line, we’ll also have it online for you to buy direct from our online store.

As we head to the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup at Nevis Range, we’ll be celebrating the stoke and championing the efforts from a hard day’s ride with MTBeer.
