Riding Bikes is Better With Great Beer
What could be better than finishing a day of riding bikes and having fun with the family, than a tasty organic beer?
Well that’s exactly what we thought here at Black Isle Brewery after speaking to the team behind Muckmedden events. As a purveyor of all things mucky and mountain bike, we’re proud to be teaming up with Muckmedden to do just that this summer.
Known for their family-friendly, fun-packed series of mountain biking festivals, we’re taking the spot of title sponsor this year; ensuring our delicious, organic beer is on tap for both thirsty riders and cheering spectators.
First Up, Cream ’O The Croft
Held at the award-winning Comrie Croft, we couldn’t think of a more fitting venue to start the season off. Despite a torrent of rain thrashing down, luckily it didn’t dampen spirits. With over 1000 riders and spectators, we came together for the weekend to enjoy a taste of traditional Scottish summer.
No hour was left untouched by the clutches of entertainment; there was everything to play for, with live music, local food, arts and even a giant waterslide. And that’s without mentioning bikes!
Don’t think the bike course was just for the adults either; Saturday saw the little ones line up and take part in the toddler racing category.
